I, Prianka Maharaj obtained a Master’s of Art degree in Applied Psychological Sciences (M.A.) from Pacific University. I am currently a Counseling Intern in the State of Idaho. My education included coursework in areas such as individual therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, substance abuse treatment, assessment of individuals, group therapy, ethics, and career counseling. I have experience and work primarily from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach. The therapeutic relationship and its process is unique, and goals are achieved through rapport, trust, empathy, and dedication.
