I (Stacey Balla) obtained a Bachelor of Psychology degree from University of Nevada Las Vegas as well as a Master of Social Work degree from Northwest Nazarene University. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker in the state of Idaho. I am also a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). I enjoy working with individuals, especially children, and families. I have experience working with children with severe emotional disturbance and who struggle emotionally, behaviorally, and socially. I have been trained in general social work practices and work from a Client-Centered approach. I also draw heavily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Family and Systems Theory. As each individual and family are unique, treatment approaches are modified to best fit the client needs.
