I (Susanne Larsen) obtained a Masters of Counseling degree with an emphasis in Mental Health from Idaho State University in 2014. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Idaho (M. Coun., LPC-5615). I am also a member of the National Board for Certified Counselors, the American Counseling Association, Idaho Counseling Association, Idaho Mental Health Counseling Association and Chi Sigma Iota.
I have training, coursework and experience in working with issues such as; grief, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, trauma, etc. I work primarily from a person-centered approach to counseling or marriage and family therapy and pull from a variety of counseling theories to tailor the counseling experience to the needs of each client. I enjoy and have experience working with adults, children, couples and families.
