The purpose of Kuna Counseling Center, LLC Developmental Disability Services is: to foster independence and enhance quality of living by providing individual and family support that empowers children to make positive changes.
 
Intervention Services
Intervention Services, formally known as Habilitative Intervention Services, is available for children from age 3 years-old to 21 years-old who struggle with behaviors and/or has a developmental diagnosis. Intervention Specialists and Intervention Professionals are certified individuals with an accredited college degree, who also has intensive training through both applied behavior analysis and evidence based treatments. They strive to help mentor, guide, provide family support, reduce maladaptive behaviors, and to promote independence of the client and the clients’ family with their daily activities. Intervention Specialists and Intervention Professionals strive to empower clients and their families’ to make positive changes.
*Interdisciplinary Training: This type of service allows the intervention specialist or intervention Professional to work and collaborate with other therapist such as speech, occupational, and physical therapy to promote the success of the client. Kuna Counseling Center, LLC Developmental Disabilities Services offer this service to clients who qualify. *
