I (Nicholle Bouvier) am a Clinical Supervisor of Developmental Disability Services at Kuna Counseling, Center. I graduated from Idaho State University, with a BA in Sociology, AA in General Studies and an AA in Criminal Justice in the year of 2012. While attending Idaho State University, I gave a few presentations to a couple of doctorate classes. I started my Masters in Psychology at Grand Canyon University in 2017, however due to a life changing event; I had to put my masters on hold until this year. I will be finishing my masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in the fall. I am legally deaf, and am able to communicate very well to be able to perform every duty I have in my daily life. I have always had a passion for working with children and adults. I started out my career as a Community Based Rehabilitation Specialist and an American Sign Language Interpreter in Idaho Falls, Idaho, Pocatello, Idaho and Preston, Idaho. I moved back to the Treasure Valley Area to work as a Certified Intervention Specialist for 6 years with other agencies. At that time, I was promoted to Clinical Supervisor over the Community Based Supports Staff and a Director of DDA. I also became Registered Behavior Technician Certified (RBT), and worked as a contractor for Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. My main ambition in life is to help children and adults with disabilities to succeed just as much as I have and be their advocate. When I am not working or being an advocate, I enjoy spending time with my family, taking adventures outdoors, traveling the world, and landscape photography. |
