​​I (Samuel Clemens) obtained a Bachelor of International Studies with a minor of multi-languages from Brigham Young University as well as a Master of Social Work degree from Northwest Nazarene University.  I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (License #: LMSW-39917) in the state of Idaho.  I have taken courses and officially been certified as: Adlerian therapist, Personality disorder therapist, Autism therapist, ADHD therapist, Gottman couples therapist (i.e. marriage therapist) and a trauma therapist, and also have a lot of experience in Creative Arts Therapy, specializing in Drama Therapy, Art Therapy and Music Therapy. ​
I enjoy working with individuals from all walks of life.  I have experience in many demographics in addition to services to refugees.  I work from a client-centered approach and draw mostly from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques, Creative Arts Therapy techniques, and general Systems Theory techniques.  I am always looking for opportunities to expand my learning and to build my skill set.  I believe that each individual is unique and each person’s story is waiting to be told.
